This sculpture is a contemporary studio reproduction, cast in the traditional lost-wax bronze method and hand-finished by master artisans in heritage workshops, patinated in the warm tones of Tang and Song dynasty bronze traditions.
It is inspired by the iconography and proportions of classical Chinese Buddhist sculpture, but is not an antique or excavated artifact.
